Quick answer

Big Walk has 12 Steam achievements. Ten are visible and describe a single action — cross the drawbridge, ride the train, reach the highest point — rather than a grind. The two hidden ones are the game's two endings, and the rarer one cannot be unlocked before the other. Nothing so far looks permanently missable, so a single continuing save is enough.

The ten visible achievements

Steam publishes the full list along with the share of owners who have unlocked each one. The percentages below were read on 14 August 2026 and will drift as more groups finish, but the ordering tells you a lot about where a normal playthrough ends.

Notice the shape: almost every one is a place you reach or an object you put on. There is no collect-200-of-something achievement in Big Walk, which is unusual and means completion is about covering the island rather than repeating actions.

  • Big Walk — cross the drawbridge (86.0%)
  • Big View — visit the map (56.5%)
  • Big Pack — wear a backpack (47.6%)
  • Big Sit — ride the chairlift (31.5%)
  • Big Help — wear something on your hip (24.3%)
  • Big Ride — ride the train (24.1%)
  • Big Climb — reach the highest point (18.8%)
  • Big Tunnel — enter a big tunnel (16.2%)
  • Big Wall — go beyond the wall (8.0%)
  • Big Makeover — get shiny (3.0%)

The ones you get without trying

Crossing the drawbridge sits at 86%, which is effectively the rate at which people start the game. Visiting the map at 56.5% is the first real filter: it needs the red tower cleared, so barely more than half of owners have opened the map room at all.

Wearing a backpack at 47.6% is worth flagging to a new group, because it is easy to walk past. If your session is about to end and someone has not picked one up, that is thirty seconds of work.

The ones you have to go looking for

Riding the chairlift, riding the train, reaching the highest point, and entering a big tunnel are all landmark achievements. None of them are hidden, and none require a puzzle you would not solve anyway — they require a detour.

The cheapest way to collect them is to treat them as a route rather than a checklist. Once the map room is open, plan one session around the transport and high ground, and most of this block falls out at once.

Getting shiny sits at 3.0%, far below the achievements around it. That gap suggests it is not on the natural path, so expect to go looking rather than stumble into it.

What the completion rates actually tell you

The drop from 86% to 56.5% is where groups stop before the map. The drop from 16.2% to 8.0% is where they stop before the wall. Those two cliffs match the two moments a co-op group most often loses a player and never reschedules.

If your goal is to finish, the useful takeaway is scheduling rather than skill. Agree on the next session before ending the current one, and keep the same host, because a new host means a new save and everything above resets.

The two hidden achievements

Both hidden achievements are tied to endings, and both sit at the bottom of the list — 7.4% and 1.4%. Their names are public on Steam even though their descriptions are not, so the fact that there are two finishes is not itself much of a secret.

The order matters and it is not optional: community completion reports agree that the rarer one cannot fire before the other, so a group cannot skip ahead to the true finish.

The route to both is in the spoiler section below. Nothing above this point reveals it.

How solid is this page

The names, descriptions, and percentages come straight from Steam's public achievement stats and are as reliable as anything gets. The ending route below comes from player completion reports rather than from House House, and it is labelled that way for a reason.

One thing we have not confirmed: whether an achievement fires for everyone in a session or only for the player who performs the action. If your group has tested this, it is the single most useful correction you could send us.

Hint: what the last two are aboutShow a hint

Both hidden achievements are about how much further you are willing to go after the game looks finished. One is the ending itself. The other only becomes reachable afterwards, on the same save, and involves a category of puzzle you will not have seen during the main route.

Full route to both endingsShow the full solution

Big Goodbye is the normal ending: go beyond the wall, cross to the large sphere, clear the puzzles inside it, exit the far side and continue to the final turnstile and white door. Big Game is the true completion: keep playing the same save afterwards, finish every remaining standard puzzle, clear the seven post-game purple puzzles, hand in the last fifteen collectibles at the green building near the tutorial and map area, and use the white key that produces back near the starting area. Big Goodbye must unlock first — attempting Big Game out of order does not work. This route is assembled from player completion reports, not from an official walkthrough, so treat the ordering as reliable and the fine detail as community-sourced.

Frequently asked

How many trophies are there on PS5?

Steam lists 12 achievements. Some PS5 trophy listings count 13, which is what you would expect if a platinum sits on top of the same twelve. Check your platform's own list rather than assuming the counts match.

Can any achievement be permanently missed?

Nothing has been reported as missable so far. The design points the other way — one continuing save, revisitable areas — but this is a young game, so a cautious group keeps the same host and the same save rather than restarting.

Can I get achievements playing alone?

No, because you cannot meaningfully play alone. There is no single-player mode and no matchmaking, so every achievement needs at least one other person in the session with you.

Why is Big Game at 1.4% when Big Goodbye is at 7.4%?

Because finishing the story and finishing the game are different jobs. Roughly one group in five that reaches the ending goes back in for the post-game content, and that content needs the same people to reassemble after the credits.

Do we need to replay to get everything?

It does not look like it. The reported route to the rarest achievement continues the same save after the ending rather than starting over, which is also why keeping the original host matters more than usual here.
