Big Walk Radio Stations: All 7 Locations

Find all seven Big Walk radio stations by landmark, unlock every channel on the portable radio and avoid missing the Yellow Tunnel nightclub transmitter.

A tall Big Walk tower used as a landmark while finding radio stations

Quick answer

There are seven radio stations. Activate the green antenna box inside each music area to add that channel to the portable radio. Route them by landmark: Crosswalk, southern mountain, Red Tower side, below Blue Tower, Yellow Tunnel nightclub, Green Tower rocks, and west of Yellow Tower. Station 5 is the common miss because it requires the Yellow Tunnel and sits off the main route.

Activate the transmitter, not just the music area

Every station is built around a colourful music landmark, but arriving and hearing the track is not enough. Find the small green transmitter box with an antenna and interact with it once. That adds the station to the portable radio.

The field radio near the Crosswalk plays channels you have already unlocked. Treat it as the starting point and portable player, not as proof that every transmitter has been found.

All seven radio station locations at a glance

The game does not display a numbered checklist, and community guides order the stations differently. The route below uses stable landmarks instead of pretending the numbering is official.

  • Crosswalk — the opening-area radio setup where most groups first pick up the portable radio.
  • Southern mountain — a waterside music area reached more easily after the mountain routes open.
  • Red Tower side — the green music area near the large orange landmark.
  • Below Blue Tower — descend toward the bright yellow speaker area near the outer wall.
  • Yellow Tunnel nightclub — take the early right-hand branch after unlocking the tunnel.
  • Green Tower region — search among the rocks, trees and pale-blue platforms below the tower side.
  • West of Yellow Tower — look beside the flat red or pink grid landmark.

The Yellow Tunnel nightclub is the usual missing station

Complete the Yellow Tower and use its key to open the tunnel. At the first meaningful fork, take the right-hand route instead of continuing toward the main Red Tower connection. Stay along the wall, climb the stairs and follow the light into the neon nightclub.

The transmitter is inside the DJ area. Players often hear the club, assume that counts as discovering it and leave without pressing the green antenna box, so interact before returning to the main tunnel.

Use the transport network instead of one giant walk

Collect the Crosswalk, Red Tower and Blue Tower-side stations while those regions are already on the main progression route. Leave the southern mountain and Yellow Tunnel until the chairlift, train or tunnel network makes the return trip shorter.

Keep the portable radio with the route leader. After each transmitter, cycle the channel list before moving on. That catches a missed interaction immediately instead of after the group has crossed the island.

Why the channels matter beyond collecting music

The radio is part of the island’s communication system, and at least one long sound puzzle expects the group to recognise or follow music away from the starting chair. Having every channel unlocked removes the question of whether the missing sound is a route clue or simply a station the host never activated.

Do not confuse a music station with a puzzle. A real puzzle location has a reward mechanism or a corresponding marker in the Map Room; some speaker areas exist only to unlock a channel and provide a place to listen.

If the radio still shows only six channels

Check the Yellow Tunnel nightclub first, then revisit Green Tower rocks and the southern mountain. At each place, look for the antenna box rather than the speakers. Hearing music proves the landmark loaded, not that the station was registered.

Keep the same host while auditing the list. The world state belongs to the host save, so changing host can make a group compare two different sets of unlocked locations.

Frequently asked

How many radio stations are in Big Walk?

Seven. Each is unlocked by interacting with a green antenna box inside a music area.

Where is the radio station most people miss?

Inside the Yellow Tunnel nightclub. Unlock the tunnel, take the early right-hand branch and find the transmitter in the DJ area.

How do you unlock a radio channel?

Find the green transmitter box with an antenna at the music landmark and interact with it. Merely entering the area or hearing the music does not register the channel.

Is every music area a puzzle?

No. Some are radio stations or social spaces. Puzzle locations have a reward mechanism and are reflected by the Map Room progress model.

Do you need all radio stations to finish Big Walk?

They are not presented as a tower requirement, but unlocked channels help with sound-based exploration and completion. Use the Map Room, not the radio list, as the final puzzle checklist.
